Marie-José Vackier, Managing Director at Rothschild Martin Maurel, will assume the role of General Manager of the new branch. The Luxembourg-based team will include existing local wealth management professionals, ensuring continuity and a deep understanding of client needs.
Luxembourg’s strategic location and reputation as a stable, international financial centre were key to the decision. “Luxembourg is uniquely positioned at the crossroads of Europe, offering a robust regulatory framework and access to a diverse client base,” the Group noted.
The new branch will offer a full suite of services tailored to wealthy families, entrepreneurs, and company executives; including investment advisory, wealth and financial planning, and traditional banking services.
This expansion reaffirms Luxembourg’s role as a leading hub for private banking in the Eurozone. With over 40 institutions operating in the space and €628 billion in assets under management, the country remains a go-to destination for sophisticated financial services.
